Lane Milam began his insurance career in 1975 with the Travelers Insurance Company. In 1979, he entered the brokerage business and spent 25 years with a Birmingham firm where his positions included President and CEO along with Regional Director of the Gulf South Region which included Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

Lane joined Palomar in 2005 as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales. He is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance markets and overseeing sales management.
